Growing Information

Sow February-June under glass, flowers June-August.

Sowing Information

Sow at 15-20°C (60-68°F) on a good quality compost, covering the seed lightly with a sprinkle of compost or vermiculite. Place in a polythene bag or propagator and keep the soil moist. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transfer into 9cm (3 1?2") pots and grow on in cooler conditions. When the risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out 30-40cm (12- 15") apart. Alternatively sow direct outdoors in May/June, or September for flowering the following year.
